Dennis G. Huguelet, President,
began his career with the Lucas County
Sheriff Department in 1976 where he worked
in a variety of duties until 1983. Mr.
Huguelet received his Bachelor of Science
degree from the University of Toledo in
1981. In 1983 he began the Security & Law
Enforcement Program at a vocational high
school where he remained until the start of
Safeguard Security Services. Mr. Huguelet
joined the Washington Township Police
Department in 1983 and still serves as a
Lieutenant Detective on an on-call basis. He
recognized the need for professional
security and began Safeguard Security
Services in 1994.
Casey W. Dodson joined the
Lucas County Sheriff Department in 1976 and
worked there until his forced disability
retirement in 1991. In 1991 he became an
investigator for the City Water Department
and remained in that position until he
teamed with Safeguard Security Services in
1998. In 1999, Mr. Dodson was promoted to
Vice President of the Toledo office. Mr.
Dodson received his Bachelors of Science
from the
University of Toledo with a major in
Criminal Justice.
Frank E.
Huguelet was instrumental in the
forming of Safeguard Security Services in
the Toledo office and served in many
capacities. He headed the investigative unit
in the Toledo office until opening the
Cincinnati office in the Spring of 2001 and
was promoted to Vice President at that time.
